This is from my birthday. We went up to the refuge and went hiking. The lake was about half dried up, so we were able to hike to the other side.

My Birthday

Today is my birthday!!

Last night I was banished to the bedroom so they could 'theme up' the dining room

and they did well.

Sitting in the bedroom, I could hear hammering and Alissa giggling.

I woke up this morning (with the help of Gayle)

and was walked into the dining room and THIS is what I saw!!

I have a WHITE CHRISTMAS Birthday!

They told the cake guy at Walmart nothing more than the theme to my birthday

and he came up with this B-E-A-UTIFUL cake!!

Last night I dye'd my hair. I have always dyed my hair red, but then for the last few years I let my natural color come through - I think I like it better red.....

Fun in the Rowley House

We had a blast yesterday.

Ali (Little One) and I took off to Wichita Falls (or WTF ~ really ~ that's what we call it) for no reason other than to drive (we can be thankful gas is down to $1.59) and ended up doing some Christmas shopping for Rob (he's in Wisconsin)

Then, after a trip to the grocery store, we ate dinner and played PHASE 10. It was Nick, Ali, Gayle and me. We had so much fun!

A day in my life - boring

I'm cold. I mean really - I am cold.
I realize that the cold we have going here in Oklahoma is NOTHING like the weather my mom and sisters have in Montana, or my son is dealing with in Wisconsin (gotta love the lake effect snow) but for here - it's down right COLD!

The hardest part is that when I get cold, I can't seem to warm back up. Chills me to my bones.

Then someone brings me a cup of hot chocolate - mexican chocolate - YUMMO!

Let's see, what is going on today?????

Ali is going to see the midnight showning of TWILIGHT tonight. I hope it's good, she's read the books and loves them.......... I hate it when a movie messes with the book.

Gayle is working........ nothing new there.

I live in the great state of Oklahoma. Yeah, I know, I know..... I never wanted to be here, this is just where we ended up, and it'll do just fine.




What should you know about me? Well I'm a mom. I got three kids, the youngest is 16, the oldest is 21.

I've been married 22 years to this guy. (Left)

Ya'll need to stand up and cheer for him, becausehe has put up with me for 22 years.



I tend to be pretty tenacious, somewhat obstinate, completely opinionated, and always ostentatious.

Let's see, what else. I am neither fan of the Oklahoma State Cowboys

or the OU Sooners

I do like the OU colors but love the OSU Cowboy! Maybe in my dreams I can have a cowboy with the red.
